Brand Systems & Editorial

For me, editorial design is not about superficial design, but about structural work.
The goal is to organize complex content in such a way that it is understandable, accessible and visually consistent – across different formats.

I have been working for many years on publications for companies, institutions and brands: from guides and business reports to series formats.
My focus is on clear design logics, durable systems, and a visual language that supports content rather than covering it up.

Pfizer Guide – Sexuality & Breast Cancer

Sensitively designed information

A topic that is rarely discussed and therefore needs to be addressed.

The guide to sexuality in breast cancer has been revised in terms of content and visually redesigned. The aim was to create a design that provides reassurance without glossing over the issues, and allows for intimacy without being overwhelming.

The starting point was Pfizer's stance of addressing sexuality openly and respectfully as part of quality of life. This was consistently translated into the design.

The existing guide had grown in content, but its design was outdated. Different types of content – personal accounts, medical information, and advisory texts – were presented side by side without a clear visual order.

Developing a design that provides orientation while simultaneously creating a pleasant, calm reading experience. The goal was a balance between emotional accessibility and factual clarity.

Reduced layout with plenty of white space, clear typography and a restrained color palette of warm natural and lavender tones.
A flexible system that clearly separates different content levels while still keeping them together.

Conception, design and production of the entire publication – from the initial idea through layout development and image research to retouching and final print data creation.

The visual language depicts real, diverse people in authentic situations, while remaining deliberately calm and aesthetic.

The biggest challenge lay in the tone: to present a sensitive topic in a way that makes it accessible without losing depth.

BDI Publications

Systematic clarity

Since 2016, I have regularly worked for the BDI on various publications – from individual documents to more comprehensive redesigns. A recent example is the revision of the business law series, which is published twice a year.

The goal was to give the series a clearer visual identity without removing it from the existing BDI corporate design. To achieve this, I developed a structured layout system that uses clear hierarchies, recurring elements, and high readability.

The focus here is less on individual design decisions than on a system that works in the long term: consistent, scalable and stably applicable across many expenditures.

Shape Republic

Scalable Content Systems

A wide range of publications is being created for the brands around 7NXT and Shape Republic – from guides and recipe books to training plans and accompanying materials.

My task was to develop design systems that clearly structure this content while functioning as part of a consistent brand identity. The layouts are modular, flexible, and designed for high-frequency production.

In addition to publications, I have also worked in product design and developed visual concepts that are consistent across various touchpoints. Furthermore, extensive social media and campaign materials have been created, which are showcased on a separate reference page.

Motherfoxer

Free visual posture

Motherfoxer is a free fashion project that originated during my studies – without a briefing, without a brand in the classic sense, but with a clear personal stance.

The works move between fashion, graphic design, and expression. Reduced forms, direct typography, and a raw, sometimes deliberately imperfect aesthetic characterize the design.

This project showcases a side of my work that is not defined by external requirements, but arises from my own creative motivation – and precisely because of this, it develops a very clear style.
